The fees in any Florida car accident are generated using something called a contingency fee. What that means is, a percentage of the settlement, or the final amount that is agreed upon between you and the insurance company, is what the attorney’s fee will be. Oftentimes, this is 33 and 1/3rd percent of what the final settlement will be plus whatever cost the attorney may have in the case in order to have brought the case forward against the insurance company.
