If I miss work as a result of a Florida car accident, can my lost wages be recovered?

I get this question a lot because a lot of my clients miss work as a result of the injuries they sustain in an auto accident. The answer is yes. We go after lost wages from the at fault driver’s insurance company as part of the damages. What we do is we get a letter from their employer as to how much they’ve missed, how much time they’ve missed, what they usually make during that time and we go after the at fault driver’s insurance company and we get them compensated for their lost wages.
