What are my rights if I am accused of a crime in Florida?

Transcript

Whenever your accused of a crime in Florida, you’re subject to arrest and then eventually you’ll have to see a Judge. You’ll always want to consult an attorney to go over what rights you have. You have the right to plead not guilty. The right to a jury trial. You also have the right to plead no contest and accept a plea bargain from the Prosecutor and give up your right to a trial, but again, these are all rights that you need to go over with an attorney before you make any legal decisions.

By submitting this form I acknowledge that form submissions via this website do not create an attorney-client relationship, and any information I send is not protected by attorney-client privilege.
