What documents or evidence should I bring with me the first time I meet my attorney following my Florida car accident?

Transcript

Everything, and I say that because you really mean that. Bring everything you possibly can to that first meeting. It’s so important. When you first meet with an attorney about an auto accident, you should at least have your driver’s licence, your registration, car title, the auto policy, your own auto policy, a copy of the accident report if you have it, a copy of the driver’s exchange form that the police officer may have given you. These are vital things that the attorney will need in order to start their investigation of how the accident occurred, and leading also into the issue of how to get access to the insurance that may be available in any particular accident. The more you can bring to the first initial meeting, the more fruitful the meeting will be with that attorney, and the more questions the attorney can answer for you during that first meeting.
