What does beyond a reasonable doubt mean?

Transcript

In a criminal case, in order for the state to prove you guilty, they must present evidence beyond a reasonable doubt to a jury. Beyond a reasonable doubt is beyond any mere, speculative, or imaginary doubt. It’s a very high burden to prove, and that’s why you should always have an attorney representing you on your behalf to make sure and argue that there is reasonable doubt in your case and therefore you should be found not guilty.
