What happens if I am pulled over for drunk driving in Florida?

Transcript

Again, if you’re pulled over for drunk driving in Florida, it would have been subject to a valid traffic stop, that you have been committing a traffic infraction. If the officer believes that you are under the influence of some substance, whether alcohol or another illegal substance, he can ask you to perform certain roadside tests. At the conclusion of these roadside tests, if the officer believe that you are in violation of the drinking and driving laws, he can take you into custody, arrest you, and ask you to perform a breathalyzer test. If you refuse to take the breathalyzer test, he must advise you that your license could be suspended for a term. You can also request to take a blood or urine test, if you refuse to take a breathalyzer test. Again, you should always consult an attorney if you have been accused of committing a drinking and driving law violation.
