Who is usually covered by Florida automobile liability insurance?

Transcript

In cases where an at-fault driver hits someone and there’s multiple victims in the other vehicle, the at-fault driver’s insurance will cover everyone in that vehicle. For example, if the at-fault drive hits a van and there’s 6 people inside the van and they’re all injured and hurt, each of those individuals will be compensated from the at-fault driver’s liability insurance. Another way of looking at it is if the individual is in the van and they have uninsured motorists coverage, each of the folks in the van will be covered by that uninsured motorist coverage as well.
