The police did not read me my rights. Does that mean that the arrest is invalid and the charges will be dismissed?

Can I get this question often times, your rights only have to be read to you subject to custodial interrogation, so if the police did not question you and you did not give any confessions, then there is no right to have your charges dismissed. Miranda is applicable for confessions, so only if Miranda was not read and you confessed or gave a statement, in detention, can that confession then possibly be kicked out.
